Here in Colorado, small businesses facing eviction issues during the COVID-19 pandemic are getting some help from a new program backed by volunteer lawyers. ColoradoCOVIDRelief.org is hosting a free webinar on August 6, 2020 for small-business tenants to share practical advice on working through lease default issues and eviction-related concerns. They will also be hosting an eviction assistance clinic on August 20 where small businesses will be matched with pro bono lawyers. Lent Parker Law's Margrit Parker has volunteered to serve as a pro bono lawyer in this new program.
